As a kid, St. Patrick’s Day wasn’t a big day in our family. We’re not Irish, and so most of the time, I forgot even to wear green. As an adult, I LOVE St. Patrick’s Day.
No one does it as we do. I mean, where else can you catch cabbage from a float or go home with all the produce you need for a month? I think I like the St. Patrick’s Day parades more than Mardi Gras. It’s honestly my favorite part of spring in Jefferson Parish. I love how we take St. Patrick’s Day to a whole new level! Here are some fun ways to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with kids in Jefferson Parish and beyond. The best part of this St. Patrick’s Day fun, it’s FREE!
