There is A LOT going on this weekend. There are only a few more weeks of Lenten Fish Frys, the Easter Bunny is starting to hop all over down, there is a crawfish cookoff in Marrero, a Seafood Fest in Bucktown, and the Irish-Italian Parade in Metairie on Sunday! Here are all the things you can do in Jefferson Parish and beyond this weekend: March 20-22, 2026.

Lenten Fish Frys

Rummel’s Fishing Club Fish Fry Friday: 3 until sold out. $15 fish or shrimp. Drive thru only.

Community Garden Work Hour: 11 am – NOON. Everyone is invited to help work in the first-ever community garden at the Terrytown Library.

About Camp Studio NOLA

Camp Studio NOLA at The Studio School of Dance in Metairie offers a fun, engaging summer experience for children ages 5–10, running from June 22 through July 17.

Designed to keep kids active, creative, and inspired, each week of camp offers a balanced mix of movement, artistic expression, and social connection in a positive, supportive environment. Campers participate in a variety of dance styles, including Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Modern, and Tumbling, allowing them to explore new forms of movement while building coordination, confidence, and strength.

Each day also includes crafts and hands-on activities that encourage creativity and imagination, giving children the opportunity to express themselves both physically and artistically. Camp Studio NOLA is designed for both beginners and experienced dancers, making it an ideal introduction for children new to dance, as well as a fun and enriching experience for those continuing their training.

Our experienced instructors create a welcoming atmosphere where every child feels supported, encouraged, and celebrated for their individual progress. In addition to skill development, campers build friendships, learn teamwork, and develop a love for movement that extends beyond the studio. Families appreciate the structured yet fun environment, while children enjoy a summer filled with energy, creativity, and connection.
